Mi Mix 2S: What’s New in the Android Pie?

The Android 9 Pie is the first Android version to use artificial intelligence for optimization of the user interface, although several skins such as MIUI were making use of AI already. This Android version, however, promises to save battery and enhance performance based on AI inputs that improve intuitively as you go on using the phone, as the AI algorithms adapt to your kind of usage and accordingly improve the performance of your handset.

Get more while you tap less, charge less, and scroll less is how Team Android puts it. Among major changes is the digital home button and Apple iPhone X-like gesture navigation, where one button is all it takes to go through the phone, and gestures such as swiping left or right, or tapping on the screen will do the job of switching between apps or going back one page, a task that until now was done via three digital buttons usually placed in the chins of Android phones.

We also have a nice new feature called Digital Wellbeing, which monitors and shows you how much you have been using your Android Pie smartphone, and also includes a night mode where the screen greys down slowly as you keep on raging against the dying of the light in your bedroom.
