If you’re in the market for a new device then Huawei has got you hooked up. With no less than three new devices that are easy on the pocket, there’s no shortage of options. The Huawei Nova 3i comes in multiple color options such as Blue, Black, Grey, and Gold, which are all priced the same. The Honor Play was on sale on the day of the launch with limited stock and the phone will be again available for sale on tomorrow

Performance is where we see the biggest differentiator. The Honor Play packs a Hisilicon Kirin 970 Octa-core (4×2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) processor with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and 4/6GB of RAM depending on configuration. Honor Play vs Huawei Nova 3i vs Huawei P20 Lite: Camera Features
All devices offer a dual-camera setup, which has almost become the standard at this point unless you’re Google and can do in software what others need hardware to do. The Honor Play has dual 16+2-megapixel rear sensors which are complemented with dual autofocus and AI scene recognition which the company claims can identify 22 categories among 500 scenes. The front-facing shooter is a 16-megapixel lens which is coupled with the AI portrait feature. The rear shooters are also assisted with an LED flash to handle low-light shots. The Nova 3i packs a 16-megapixel f/2.2 lens paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear, and a 24-megapixel setup paired with a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the front. Unlike the P20, the P20 Lite ships with a dual 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel array and a massive 24-megapixel sensor on the front that will be sure to help in post-editing.
Honor Play vs Huawei Nova 3i vs Huawei P20 Lite: Battery Life, Operating System
While all devices should get decent battery life, the clear winner in this category is the Honor Play that sees a 3750mAh battery and ships with Android 8.1 Oreo. The Huawei Nova 3i has a smaller 3340mAh battery with Android 8.1 Oreo that still should be pretty decent and last a day of use. Coming in last is the P20 Lite that sees a dismal 3000mAh battery and Android 8.0 Oreo.
Honor Play vs Huawei Nova 3i vs Huawei P20 Lite: Verdict
With the better battery and better processor, the clear winner here is the Honor Play. Given it is also the same price as the P20 Lite and cheaper than the price of the Nova 3i, the Honor Play looks to be a heck of a device. But if you prefer a better camera phone then you can choose Nova 3i.
