The new firmware update adds two much-needed features- Bokeh and Monochrome Modes. You will be able to access the features by tapping the function key right below the shutter button. The newly added monochrome effect can be applied to both video and photo content. Furthermore, the OTA update brings the latest August security patch. The update is gradually rolling out to the global market. You would receive it in a matter of days if it’s not yet available on your device.

On the software front, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium runs the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box. The connectivity options that tag along with the device include 4G with support for VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Also, you can use two networks at the same time with two SIM card slots with the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium: Expected Price in India
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is expected to come with a price tag of Rs. 57990. The Xperia XZ2 Premium is expected to launch in the Indian market in September 2018. The 64GB storage variant of the device will cost around Rs. 57990. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium comes in color options like Chrome Black, Chrome Silver which are also priced the same. Now that the device has received its firmware update, we can expect a sooner India launch of the device.
