Ultimate Eats Wonderboom Freestyle: Features, Specifications

The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom can be seen as a trimmed-down variant of the UE BOOM 2 and the UE Megaboom. Thanks to the Wonderboom’s Freestyle’s circular design, the company claims that it can offer 360-degree sound. The speaker is also IPX7 certified, which means that it can be immersed under water for up to 1 metre for up to 30 minutes. The speaker also has a drop-proof design, and the company is claiming that the Wonderboom Freestyle can withstand from up to five feet of height.

Similar to the UE Roll 2, the UE Wonderboom Freestyle comes with large, funky-looking volume controls. The speaker also lets you use the buttons to play, pause, and skip music. There’s a hanging loop, which can be used to hang the Wonderboom Freestyle 2 on bikes, showers, or anything you like. It has a wireless range (line of sight) of up to 100 feet from the Bluetooth audio source. Once fully charged, the Wonderboom Freestyle 2 can last up to 10 hours of continuous music playback (but at a lower than maximum volume). You can also pair two Wonderboom Freestyle speakers for increased volume and stereo audio.

Building on the launch of WONDERBOOM Freestyle Collection, Sumanta Datta, Managing Director and Cluster Head, South West Asia and Indonesia, Logitech, said, “The new collection by Ultimate Ears is all about expressing yourself. You curate your playlist and personal style – why not have a speaker that reflects that style too? WONDERBOOM Freestyle Collection gives you big sound and the freedom to express your style in a trendy, tough and worry proof speaker. The new collection strengthens the Ultimate Ears portfolio for the Indian market with industry leading speakers across entry, mid and premium range.
