Google Pixel 3 XL Leaked Video Reveals Three Front Cameras, 6.7-inch Display, Android 9 Pie, and More


The Google Pixel 3 XL has been circling the internet for a while now. The rumors concerning the upcoming device don’t seem to end anytime soon. In the latest development, a Ukranian blogger has posted a video of the Pixel 3 XL going through AnTuTu. The same blogger posted a hands-on video with an almost finished product.

As shown in the video, the most notable thing here is the set of three front cameras. There have been major leaks concerning the Google Pixel 3XL before. However, the previously leaked images have shown only two front cameras, the purpose of which is unknown. There could be some additional face unlock security feature justifying the setup. This could simply be an error from AnTuTu or something entirely different. Also, note here that AnTuTu is a user-created app and there is a huge possibility that the information that is being fed to it by the system is a hoax.

The leaked video gives a fair idea of the major specifications of the Google Pixel 3 XL. As put together from the video, The Google Pixel 3 XL flaunts a big 6.7-inch display with 1440×2960 resolution. The much-speculated active edges on the device are confirmed through the video. Under the hood, there is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU that is paired with 4GB RAM powering the device to ensure a seamless smartphone experience. The onboard storage on the device is 64GB, which may not be expandable. The Google Pixel 3 XL is seen running the latest Android 9.

In the imaging department, there is a single 12.2MP camera with an aperture of  f/1.8. It comes with the Optical Image Stability Feature. On the front, there are 3 cameras which are all listed as 8.1MP. Keeping the lights on is a 3,430 mAh battery that can last one complete day even for a heavy user. The device reportedly supports wireless charging and fast charging capabilities as well.

There have been many leaks earlier revealing the specifications of the device. Going by the expected features and other specifications, the Google Pixel 3 XL ships with IP67 certification making the smartphone water-resistant and dust proof. The Google Pixel 3 XL flaunts an aluminum and glass body and the flagship smartphone also sports a fingerprint reader at the back. The primary imaging sensor on the device supports multiple shooting modes including Continuous Shooting and High Dynamic Range (HDR) mode. Furthermore, there is ISO control and a dual LED flash to help you in low-light conditions. The connectivity options that tag along with the device include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.

The previously leaked video emphasized on the contents of the box, however, this video reveals the smartphone up and running. Also, it is important to note that this is a DVT 1.0 model (Device Validation Test), so while it’s totally likely the hardware of the device will remain unchanged, it’s still not an official unit.

Google Pixel 3 XL: Expected Price in India, Availability

The Google Pixel 3 XL price in India is expected to come with a price segment of somewhere around Rs. 78990. The Pixel 3 XL is due to be launched sometime in October, this year. The 64GB variant is expected to sell for nearly Rs. 78990. As per the leaks, the Google Pixel 3 XL will likely be launching in two color- White and Black. The device is the successor to the Google Pixel 3. It will be interesting to have a smartphone around that comes with three front cameras.
