Yet again, Lenovo is going to launch a broad lineup of new hardware that will be introduced in the form of notebooks at the upcoming IFA 2018 trade show. The Lenovo Yoga C930, which is said to be a successor to the classy Yoga 920 notebook, will also be included in this new range.
The Yoga C930 is the first model of the new Yoga series by Lenovo that now comes with a revised naming structure. The latest string of models has a letter in the front of numbers by which the notebook is associated with. This number not only arranges them in a specific series but it can also signify the different specifications and features that these products will ship with.
Lenovo Yoga C930: Leaked Specifications
The new Lenovo Yoga C930 sports a 13.9-inch IPS display along with a 4K resolution, which measures in at 3840 x 2160 pixels. Just like the previous version, this model is also touch-sensitive and can be turned completely backwards along with supporting the Active Pen accessory for handwriting input.
Talking about it’s under the hood features, the device packs either the Intel Core i5-8250U or the Intel Core i7-8550U chips, depending upon the model you decide to purchase when it launches in India. There is also 8GB or 16GB of RAM version, with an SSD ranging from 256GB to 512GB.
Users might also be able to upgrade their storage to 1TB, as this was an option that came with the Lenovo Yoga 920. Sadly, the small battery is going to be the one thing that will bother most buyers and we’ve provided the details below.
Also, if you are going to be upgrading to the Yoga C930, make sure to accept the ‘dongle life’ because apart from a full-sized USB-A, port, there are two USB-C ports, which luckily support Thunderbolt 3 and USB Power Delivery. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack, with the notebook featuring a Gigabit WLAN chip with dual-band support and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity. A 720p webcam is also present but at the chin of the notebook.
There is also a fingerprint reader present to provide easy access to the home screen of the notebook. As per the sources, the battery of this device is a 60Whr capacity, which is lower than the 70Whr capacity present in the previous-generation notebook. As a result, you can expect battery life to be shorter, especially if you will be choosing to configure the Lenovo Yoga C930 with an Intel Core i7-8550U chip.
However, the new notebook series is very light and weighs in at just 1.38KG. If you want to know the expected price of the machine, as well as the launch date, everything you craved to know has been written below.
Lenovo Yoga C930: Expected Price
The Lenovo Yoga C930 is expected to cost 1600 Euros, which is around Rs. 125999, making it a very expensive machine for the money. There are going to be different configurations available later in the year, so make sure you have purchased the one that will suit your working practices the most.
Lenovo Yoga C930: Launch Date
The notebook is expected to be launched at the IFA 2018 trade show, which will be held in late August.
