We have taken five of the best notched smartphones available in the market today and take them head to head.

Vivo V9, Nokia 5.1 Plus, Oppo A3s, Vivo Y83, Huawei Nova 3i: Price in India

The Vivo V9 was an impressive all-rounder. It was launched at Rs 23,990 but is now retailing for anywhere between 19,000-21,000 on different e-com websites. The Nokia 5.1 Plus is yet to launch in India but it’s expected to launch at around Rs 19,990 mark. The Vivo Y83 is the second cheapest of the lot and is available for Rs 14,990 via Amazon. The Oppo A3s takes the cake for the cheapest phone here with a price of Rs 10,990. The Nova 3i has been recently launched and it sells at a compelling price point of Rs 20,990.

Vivo V9: Specifications, Features

The V9 features the dependable Snapdragon 626 chipset and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It features a 6.3-inch full HD+ capacitive touchscreen with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution and has a 3260mAh powering its internals. It’s running on the latest Android Oreo 8.1 with Vivo’s FunTouch OS on top. For imaging, the Vivo V9 features a dual 16MP+5MP camera setup at the back with host of features like AI face beauty, time-lapse photography, live photo, bokeh mode, AR sticker, shot refocus etc. On the front, the phone packs in a solid 24MP camera with face beauty modes for both images and videos.

Nokia 5.1 Plus: Specifications, Features

The Nokia 5.1 Plus runs on the octa-core Mediatek Helio P60 chipset and comes in two variants – a 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variant, and a 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant. It features a 5.8-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution. It runs on a non-removable 3060mAh battery. On the front is a 5.2-inch notched display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution. It comes rocking Android v8.1 Oreo with Oppo’s ColorOS 5.1 skin on top. Doing the camera duty is a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. To top it off, It comes with dual SIM dual-standby (4G+4G) functionality and packs in a solid 4230mAH battery.

Vivo Y83: Specifications, Features

To start off, the Vivo Y83 has a big 6.22-inch HD+ screen with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, a 2GHz Mediatek Helio P22 octa core processor powers 4GB of RAM, coupled with 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB. A 3260mAh battery powers the handset and there is support for dual SIM standby (4G+4G). It comes with a 13MP rear camera with HDR, professional, face beauty, PDAF, live photos and a decent 8MP camera on the front.

Huawei Nova 3i: Specifications, Features
