Vivo has launched the Y83 Pro in India right before they are set to launch the Vivo V11. The Chinese makers were busy sending invites to a press conference which is scheduled for September 6, and is widely considered the date of launch for the V11. However, as an upgrade to their mid-range smartphone model Y83, which was launched in May this year, Vivo has wasted o time in bringing an upgraded Y83 Pro into the market.
Some of the salient features of the Vivo Y83 Pro includes a 6.22-inch FullView display 2.0 including a notch-up top. The report did confirm the impending arrival of the Vivo Y83 Pro and could be made available in the market soon.
Vivo Y83 Pro: Price in India
Vivo has decided to price the new Y83 Pro in India competitively. Current reports suggest that the smartphone device will be made available for Rs 15,990 and which slightly more than its predecessor the Vivo Y83. The phone only comes in one variant and thus the competitive price for Vivo’s next generation mid-range smartphone.
Vivo Y83 Pro: Availability
After confirming the pricing, the report also went on to state that the phone is set to be available for pre-order via significant brick-and-mortar stores across the country. The phone is expected to go on sale soon enough and should provide enough competition to many of the models available in the same specifications and price range. Vivo Y83 Pro: Specifications, Features
The Vivo Y83 Pro is a bump up from its predecessor the Y83. The brand has included many features that the Y83 did not have including a 6.22-inch FullView display 2.0, IPS LCD capacitative touchscreen on the device. The Vivo Y83 Pro boots the Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The Y83 Pro runs on an Octa-core 2.0 GHz Cortex A-53 CPUDue to much shortage of information regarding exact specs of the phone; there still hasn’t been a confirmation on the SoC of the smartphone. However, the Vivo Y83 Pro is expected to be with a MediaTek MT6762 Helio P22.
The Y83 Pro comes with a 4GB RAM (DDR3) with 64GB of internal memory, along with the option to expand it via an SD card. The Vivo Y83 comprises of dual rear cameras with a 13MP primary sensor alongside a 2MP secondary, depth sensor. The primary cameras are capable of taking videos at 1080p @ 30fps, whereas also boasting standard features such as panorama, LED Flash and HDR. The front camera is an 8MP shooter, highly suitable for video calling, selfies and much more. The handset includes a 3,260 mAh battery, much like its predecessor the Y83.
As far as features on the Y83 Pro are concerned, Vivo has provided with a fingerprint unlock sensor, eye protection mode as well as app clone. One of the other features includes an AI face beauty capability, which is ideal for a mid-range phone of this sort. Vivo is set to release the Y83 Pro in Black, Aurora White, Red and Gold colour options.
