Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has sent out a ‘Block Your Date Message’ for its upcoming event in India. The event is scheduled for September 6 and we are expecting the launch of Vivo 11 in the event.

Vivo V11 Pro: Launching on September 6 in India

The company has sent invites for the launch event reading, “Experience in 11”, making it obvious that Vivo V11 will be the event’s main highlight. The invite also insinuates that the device will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo V11 will be the successor to the Vivo V9 and has been leaked multiple times. Based on leaked images and specifications, the Vivo V11 seems like a well-manufactured upgraded version of the previously launched Vivo V9. Let’s check out the top 5 features that make it a worthy upgrade to the previous Vivo V9.

Vivo V11 Pro: Top 5 Features That Make It Better Than the Vivo V9

If you own a Vivo V9 and looking for an upgrade, check out these features of the Vivo V11 that will help you make your mind.

Better Performance

Under the hood, the Vivo V9 comes with a Snapdragon 626 MSM8953 Pro processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU. On the other hand, the upcoming Vivo V11 will be powered by a better Snapdragon 660 MSM8956 processor paired with a more efficient Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB RAM. The combination makes it a better choice when it comes to smooth saiing and uninterrupted performance during multi-tasking.

The Vivo V11 comes with a larger 6.41 inches Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Vivo V9, on the other hand, features a slightly smaller 6.3 inches IPS LCD display with the screen resolution that lags a bit.

Furthermore, the Vivo V11 will likely feature the waterdrop notch that was brought into the market by the Oppo F9. Nevertheless, it gives a premium touch to the device and makes it the perfect choice for those who love watching videos and playing games on their smartphones. The S- AMOLED display panel makes it sleek and the waterdrop notch is a novelty.

The Vivo V11 comes with a dual camera set up at the rear comprising a 12-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The camera brings features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus, and more. On the front, there is an upgraded 25-megapixel selfie camera that comes with an LED flash. This is quite an improvement over the screen flash in the Vivo V9.

The Vivo V11 is backed by a more powerful 3400mAh battery which can keep the device alive for an entire day despite heavy usage. The smartphone is also speculated to arrive with an upgraded fast charging technology. The Vivo V9 had a relatively smaller non-removable Li-Ion 3260 mAh battery.

Onboard Storage

The onboard storage offered by the Vivo V11 is 128 GB for the standard variant. This memory is 64Gb for the standard variant of the Vivo V9. However, you can expand the inbuilt memory on both the devices up to 256GB using a microSD card.

The Vivo V11 runs on Android v8.1 (Oreo) and brings standard connectivity options and dual SIM set up. The device measures 157.9x75x7.9mm and weigh 156 grams.

Vivo V11 Pro: Expected Price in India

The Vivo V 11 is expected to sell for somewhere around Rs. 25,990 which is a good bargain considering its specifications. The device would be sharing the same price segment as the Vivo V9 but with better and improved features. The device is truly a worthy upgrade to the Vivo V9. However, there is no official word from the company on the price of the Vivo V11. Let’s wait till the company officially announces the price for the smartphone on September 6. Meanwhile, you can consider these features and decide if you should go for Vivo’s upcoming offering.
