Reliance Jio has finally announced free preview plans for the much-awaited Jio GigaFiber broadband. The company recently started taking registrations for the service and received an overwhelming response from the customers. The company preview offer is free for 3-months and the customers can shift to a paid plan after this period.

Jio GigaFiber Preview Offer: Details

As mentioned earlier, the free preview offer brings a validity of 3-months. Under the launch offer, the customers will get 100 GB monthly data free for 90 days at internet speeds of up to 100Mbps. Post the expiration of the preview offer, the customers can migrate to prepaid plans that are expected to roll out in the next few months.

Reliance Jio claims that with ultra-fast broadband service you can download anything under ‘milli-seconds’. The fiber cable of Jio GigaFiber comes directly to your home which is not the case with some broadband service providers, and it explains the downloading speed claims. The company further says that unlike fiber, conventional cable degrades the speed due to patches in between. The telecom giant will soon be rolling out its TV connection service which will be paired with the broadband connection.

Jio GigaFiber Preview Offer: How to Avail?

If you are interested in getting a Jio GigaFiber broadband connection, you can confirm so on the MyJio app or Jio website. Reliance Jio will start launching the service based on the demand factor. The region/locality with a higher number of registrations will get the Jio broadband service faster. As soon as your housing society or your locality gets selected for the services by the company, Reliance Jio will contact you to install its fixed-line fiber-to-home broadband connection at the office or home address you submitted during the registration process.

One of the most amazing parts about the Jio GigaFiber broadband preview launch offer is the installation process. You don’t have to call a guy from the service company and pay for the installation, just sit back and relax when the Reliance Jio team gets your connection up and running free of cost. Not to mention, after installation, you will enjoy free service for the following three months.

There are zero installation charges, however, the customers will be charged a refundable security deposit of Rs 4,500 for Jio’s broadband router. Also, note it is an optical line terminal (OLT) device with a different configuration than a standard broadband router. It is very likely that your current router will not be compatible with the Jio broadband connection. You will need the Jio router in order to take advantage of the service. The router that comes with the Jio broadband connection has been named GigaHub Home Gateway. Once the installation process is complete, your 3-months free period will get activated and you can enjoy the ultra-fast broadband service with 100GB monthly data. When the preview offer expires, you will have the option to migrate to the prepaid plans from the service. Reliance Jio is expected to announce the prepaid plans for Jio GigaFiber in the upcoming months.
