This year Xiaomi has already released various smartphones in India, from the Redmi Note 5 to the recently released Mi A2. The brand continues to launch multiple handsets almost every month, resulting in the company shoring up huge sales from India.
Xiaomi’s Next Getting International Certification
Well, it now looks like the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is preparing to launch yet another device. Yes, you read that correctly! The company’s latest smartphone that goes by the model number Xiaomi M1806E7TG has recently been certified by FCC in the US, carrying an FCC ID as 2AFZZ-RMSE7TG; that’s not all. We also have spotted another smartphone from Xiaomi, which goes with the label: M1806E7TH. This specified device has received the coveted Taiwanese NCC certification.
Right now, very little information of this certified handset is out. However, we can assume that these devices are either the Redmi Note 6 or the Redmi Note 6 Pro. Usually, Xiaomi releases new Redmi Note series devices at the beginning of the year; sometime in January or February. Two years ago, the Bejing-based smartphone maker had debuted the Redmi Note 4 in January 2017, while this year the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro have been released in February. The certified Xiaomi M1806E7TG handset could even emerge as a completely new device with its possible launch taking place in the next few months.
Xiaomi M1806E7TG, M1806E7TH: Features, Specs
Going by the details revealed by FCC, we can see that the smartphone will have an LTE/WCDMA/CDMA/GSM connectivity support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n ac with 2.4GHz/5GHz frequency, Bluetooth, and a hardware supporting an LTE Band 40.
On the software front, this unknown device will run Android-based MIUI 9 out of the box. If we have a look at the brand’s 2018’s Redmi Note 5 smartphone, it came with a 5.99 inches 18:9 display, running on the octa-core 2GHz Snapdragon 625 chipset, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, and had a 12MP rear-facing and 5MP front-facing camera. The Redmi Note 5 Pro features the same display, packing an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, dual 12MP+5MP camera, 20MP selfie shooter, and a 4000mAh battery.
If there are chances about Xiaomi releasing the Redmi Note 6 and the Redmi Note 6 Pro this fall, we shouldn’t be surprised to see the handsets featuring the notched 19:9 display, Snapdragon 710 SoC, dual cameras along with other attractive features that come with the brand name. For now, these are only guesses and as the days pass, we should get the detailed information regarding the marketing name of the specified FCC device, and its other specifications.
