Popular Chinese smartphone maker Vivo recently confirmed that it plans to launch the V11 Pro smartphone in India at an event on September 6. Ahead of the launch event next month, V11 Pro teaser pages have gone live on both Flipkart and Amazon.in, confirming that the smartphone will be sold on both platforms in India. Going by whatever information is currently available regarding the handset, the V11 Pro will be a very impressive upgrade over the current V9.

Vivo V11 Pro: Teaser Pages Now Live in Flipkart, Amazon India

The Vivo V11 Pro teaser pages on Amazon.in and Flipkart highlight some of the key features of the upcoming smartphone. Some of these include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Halo Fullview Display, dual rear cameras with AI Dual Pixel technology, Dual-engine quick charge, and a powerful Snapdragon SoC. The Vivo V11 Pro will be launched in India at an event in Mumbai on 6th September at 12:00 PM. One of the teaser images also shows Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan holding the V11 Pro, which confirms that he will be the brand ambassador for the product in India.

Vivo V11 Pro: Expected Price in India

The Vivo V11 Pro will be much more similar to the X21 than the current V9 when it comes to hardware specifications. As a result, we can expect the V11 Pro to be priced significantly higher than the current price of the V9. That said, the V series isn’t a premium line, so there is a good chance that the V11 Pro will be priced under the Rs.30,000 mark in India. With devices like the Honor Play and POCO F1 now available in India, Vivo might find it extremely difficult to find many buyers for the V11 Pro in case it is priced closer to the X21.

Vivo V11 Pro: Specifications, Features

The Vivo V11 Pro is expected to sport a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED Halo FullView display with 1080 x 2340 Full HD+ resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. As you can see in the teaser images of the smartphone above, it will have a tiny notch at the top, not very different from what we find on the OPPO F9 and F9 Pro smartphones. One of the major highlights of the phone will be the presence of an in-display fingerprint sensor. However, it is not yet clear if Vivo is using the third-generation in-display fingerprint solution from the Vivo NEX.

Powering the V11 Pro is rumored to be an octa-core 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz with an Adreno 512 GPU. The same chipset also powers the Vivo X21, which was launched in India earlier this year. In terms of memory, rumors suggest the V11 Pro will come equipped with 6GB of RAM and an impressive 128GB of internal storage. When it comes to optics, the smartphone is rumored to feature a 12MP + 5MP dual-camera setup at the rear, possibly the exact same setup that we find on the NEX. The dual cameras will come with Dual Pixel technology for faster autofocus speeds and AI-powered intelligent scene recognition.  Selfie lovers will be very impressed with the smartphone as it is expected to feature a 25MP resolution snapper on the front with AI-assisted features like AI Portrait and AI Beauty modes. Keeping the lights on will be a 3400mAh capacity battery with Dual-engine quick charge technology. While no specific details are available yet, the V11 Pro should be able to charge much quicker than previous Vivo V series smartphones. The smartphone is expected to debut with the Android 8.1 Oreo-based Funtouch OS 4.0 out of the box.
