Lenovo Smartphone Teaser Video: Details
As seen in the video, originally posted on Weibo, the smartphone bears a FullView display along with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Further, into the video, you can see a motorized camera module sliding up from the back. The device features a large display. We can expect more teaser videos from the company revealing more details about the upcoming Lenovo smartphone.
Honor Magic 2: Announced During the IFA 2018 Trade
Honor announced its latest smartphone, Magic 2 during the IFA 2018 trade yesterday. Equipped with HiSilicon’s latest chipset, the Honor Magic 2 has drawn design inspiration from Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X, which also seems like the inspiration source of the upcoming Lenovo smartphone.
During the device unveiling event, George Zhao, CEO of Honor, revealed the upcoming Honor Magic 2 will feature premium exteriors. Much like the VivoOPPO Find X rather than the Vivo NEX. This suggests that there will be a movable motor that will help the sliding get into action followed by lens popping when the camera is summoned to take a selfie or maybe unlock the device. However, this arrangement rules out the possibility of the smartphone being water and dust resistant.
A little is know about the technical specifications of the Honor Magic 2. But we know that the smartphone will have an OLED screen because since it features extremely thin bezels and a full-screen design. Furthermore, it will be powered by the latest Kirin 980 chipset.
And finally, the Honor Magic 2 is going to support ultra-fast charging, which will take the wattage up to 40W. There is no confirmed information if the device provides Qi wireless charging support.
Mi Max 3: Expected Features, Specifications
It looks like, with Mi Max 3, Xiaomi has got rid of bezels completely. Besides the new bezel-less design, it is highly likely that the Mi Mix 3 will pack some high-end hardware. The smartphone is most likely to come equipped with the latest Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and pack 256GB of onboard storage. The sliding camera functionality won’t allow it to be a water-resistant device.
Xiaomi will also include an in-display fingerprint sensor on the device. According to the reports, it could also feature Wireless charging, and support fast wired charging as well. In terms of the rear camera, we can expect a dual-camera setup, similar to that on the Mi Mix 2S, maybe with better specifications. On the software front, the martphone is expecting to be running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie OS, with Xiaomi’s MIUI on top.
