HMD-Global operated Nokia Mobile has announced a handful of smartphones in 2018. Some of these devices first made their global debut and were later launched in the growing Indian smartphone market a few weeks later. Now, it turns out Nokia is prepping for the launch of yet another Android smartphone. A new Nokia smartphone with model number TA-1131 has gained the required 3C certification in China.Nokia Smartphone TA-1131 3C Certification The details revealed by the 3C are scarce for now, although it does confirm the model number of the device. This is the first time that the TA-1131 model number has been spotted online. That said, it is possible that the device might be launched in China first, just like the Nokia X6 and Nokia X5. At least initially, the TA-1131 might be available only in China, with the global launch likely a few months after its Chinese debut. Since there is absolutely no information regarding the device currently, we will need to patiently wait for it to show up at the US FCC or Taiwan’s NCC certification website to find out its marketing name. We can also expect some other leaks to surface online, which might possibly shed some light on the hardware specifications of the Nokia TA-1131.

In the last few weeks, we saw the Nokia bringing in the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphones to the Indian market. The prior marked its global debut in Hong Kong, whereas the latter was first launched in China as the Nokia X5. To recall the specs of the Nokia 6.1 Plus, you get a 5.8-inch Full HD+ 19:9 display, a Snapdragon 636 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage, and Android 8.1 Oreo for a price of Rs. 15,999. The smartphone sports a 16MP+5MP dual rear-facing camera, 16MP selfie shooter, and packs a 3060mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support.

On the other hand, the Nokia 5.1 Plus comes with a 5.86-inch HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display, and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC. It packs 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and has an expandable memory up to 400GB via microSD card slot. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. In terms of imaging, it features a dual 13MP+5MP cameras at the rear and an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone is fueled by a 3060mAh battery.
