A few hours back, we reported the existence of two new OPPO smartphones, which the company most likely be prepping for launch. These devices go with model number OPPO PBDT00 and PBDM00, who has received the TENAA, FCC and MIIT certification. Well, apart from the duo, the Chinese smartphone maker seems to be gearing up for the launch of yet another smartphone. Well, we now have discovered a new device with label OPPO CPH1887 on Geekbench. The benchmark does reveal specifications of this handset, which also showcases us that the phone has managed to score 1,817 points in the single-core test, and 5,930 points in the multi-core test.
Going by the Geekbench results in detail, we can see that the OPPO CPH1887 will be fueled by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC clocked at 1.71GHz. The phone will pack 6GB RAM and will run Android 8.1 Oreo-based Color OS out of the box. To recall the specs of the Snapdragon 710, it features two performance-oriented Kryo 360 Gold CPU cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Kryo 360 Silver CPU cores clocked at 1.7GHz. The SoC is paired with an Adreno 616 GPU which is 35 percent faster compared to the Adreno 512 GPU inside the Snapdragon 660 chipset from 2017, as per Qualcomm. Moving onto the device once again, there are no details as such what could be the marketing name of this handset. Considering that the label is starting with CPH-series the handset possibly could debut as in OPPO’s A or F lineup devices.
Additionally, a few days ago, we also had spotted OPPO PAGM00 with Snapdragon 710 SoC, and 6GB RAM at Geekbench. This supposed device is believed to be the beefed-up model from OPPO’s recently announced OPPO R17 lineup. Similar to the OPPO CPH1887, there are no details available as well, regarding the PAGM00 marketing name. However, one thing is clear now that OPPO is gearing up for not one, but two devices which will come with the Snapdragon 710 SoC.
