While MySmartPrice tells you the best smartphones all year round, this time we turned to users to pick their favourites from 2023. Best of Tech awards for phones have been given to categories such as Affordable Phone of the Year, Budget Phone of the Year, Camera Phone of the Year, Gaming Phone of the Year, Phone of the Year, Phone Brand of the Year, and more. So without further ado, let’s meet the winners.

The Affordable Phone of the Year chosen by users is the Redmi 12. The Redmi 12 came on top competing against phones like the Realme C55, Poco M6 Pro, Lava Blaze 2 5G, and Infinix Hot 30 5G. Redmi’s smartphone trumped the competition with its superior performance and camera quality. Not to mention that the brand also enjoys a high recall value for its budget-friendly offerings.

The Budget Phone of the Year, chosen by users in the MySmartPrice Best of Tech awards is the Moto G54. It won this award by competing against smartphones such as itel S23+, Realme Narzo 60, OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G, Vivo T2, Redmi Note 12 5G, and Samsung Galaxy M14. Moto G54 5G managed to win over the competition because it stands out with its clean Android experience and powerful specs to back it.

Users have selected the Poco F5 as the Mid-range Phone of the Year. Poco F5 has a flagship killer aura, beating so many phones in terms of pure specifications and a good camera to back it up, at a great price.

The Budget Gaming Phone of the Year award goes to the Vivo T2 Pro. The T2 Pro has one of the fastest performing chipsets in the segment, it has a great screen to complement its gaming performance along with featuring a good set of cameras. No wonder this phone beat out its competitors such as the Infinix GT10 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and iQOO Z7 Pro.

The OnePlus 11R has been selected by users as the Premium Phone of the Year in the MySmartPrice Best of Tech 2023 awards. The OnePlus 11R was absolutely the phone to beat at its price. The premium brand recall of OnePlus is still strong and the clean Android experience that Oxygen OS provides makes it stand out among its competitors such as the Nothing Phone 2, iQOO Neo 7 Pro, OPPO Reno 10 Pro 5G, Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, and more.

The Budget Camera Phone of the Year, as selected by users, is the Samsung Galaxy M34. The handset claims this award with its triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The Galaxy M34 won this against rivals like the Moto G84, OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite, Realme 11, and more.

The best Foldable Phone of the Year goes to the Oppo Find N3 Flip. The phone has a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED inner display and a 3.26-inch outer display. It managed to entice users with its superior cameras, bigger outer screen, and a great form factor.

Samsung has been chosen as the Phone Brand of the Year. The courtesy for the same goes to the impressive portfolio it launched last year, right from the budget-friendly A34 to high-end offerings like the S24 Ultra (which has bagged a number of awards). Not to mention that Samsung’s foldables also garnered a lot of attention.
