As temperatures across India begin to rise and the air conditioning season kicks off in full swing, Godrej Appliances, part of the Godrej & Boyce group, has entered the fray with the launch of its new AC portfolio for 2025. With the AC industry projected to grow at a brisk 30-35%, Godrej is eyeing an even steeper curve — the company is set to close the current financial year with over 100% growth in AC sales, touching 1.4 million units. Riding on this momentum and the early onset of high temperatures, the brand has set an ambitious target of 50% growth in the upcoming summer season.
AI-Powered Smart ACs
Much like other brands, Godrej, too, has been talking about smart features for its 2025 lineup. The company said that it has expanded its Smart AC portfolio, designed to bring meaningful innovation to Indian households. These AI-powered air conditioners offer smart filter cleaning notifications to ensure uninterrupted cooling and better energy efficiency. A unique Smart Scheduler function allows users to pre-set timings and preferred temperatures—rendering the remote or voice commands unnecessary for daily operation. Although the users do have the option to use remote or voice commands as well.
Users can also track energy usage in real time, diagnose errors remotely, and access service assistance easily via Wi-Fi-enabled controls and IoT connectivity.
To further enhance its value proposition, Godrej has introduced a 5-year comprehensive warranty on its ACs. The company claims that the warranty covers not just parts but also service visit charges, gas refills, and even remote replacement—at no extra cost.
Design-Focused Vogue and Marble Series ACs
Building on the success of its nature-inspired Vogue series launched last year, Godrej has now introduced a new line of designer ACs. This includes stylish wood finish models and an all-new marble finish range—aimed at consumers who want their home appliances to match contemporary interiors. The design-first approach extends to window ACs as well, with the debut of top-throw window units that are both compact and décor-friendly. The company also showcased its hot and cold offerings and tower AC at this launch.
Godrej 2025 ACs Pricing and Availability
Godrej's new Smart AC range is competitively priced, with models starting at ₹42,000, making it an attractive option in the premium mid-range segment. The lineup includes multiple capacities and energy ratings to cater to a wide range of consumers, from compact urban apartments to larger homes and commercial spaces.
The entire range will be available across leading offline retail outlets, including multi-brand appliance stores and exclusive Godrej showrooms, as well as through major e-commerce platforms. Additionally, buyers can avail easy EMI options and take advantage of seasonal promotions and exchange offers, making it even more convenient to upgrade to a smarter, more energy-efficient AC this summer.
Venturing into Commercial Cooling
Marking its foray into the commercial air conditioning segment, Godrej also introduced a new range of Tower and Cassette ACs. These high-capacity systems are built to cater to large residential and commercial spaces, offering powerful cooling while maintaining energy efficiency. With SKUs spanning up to 4 tons in capacity and more additions to its 5-star rated ACs, the company aims to meet both high-performance and eco-conscious consumer demands.
Legacy Brand, Fresh Innovation
Speaking at the launch, Kamal Nandi, Business Head & EVP at Godrej Appliances, said, "We continue to abide by our philosophy of thoughtful innovation to unlock value for our consumers. Our new Smart ACs go beyond just connectivity and voice control—they offer insight-based features that enhance performance and deliver real convenience. From AI-powered cooling to patented anti-leak technology and unique design finishes, we cater to India's evolving aspirations."
With a strong focus on intelligent features, powerful cooling performance, and elegant design, Godrej's refreshed AC portfolio is positioned to capitalise on the early onset of summer and growing consumer demand for smarter, more efficient cooling solutions.
