
Acer has launched a new gaming laptop in India dubbed the Acer Aspire 5 2023. This new offering from Acer comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU. The laptop has a metal chassis, a portable design, and it weighs 1.57 kg. Furthermore, this new laptop from Acer comes with a Full HD webcam, and it ships with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM along with up to 1TB of SSD storage space. The Acer Aspire 5 features a 14-inch IPS LCD display that has a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. The display panel has a viewing angle of up to 170 degrees and an aspect ratio of 16:10. Furthermore, this new laptop also has Acer PurifiedView technology and dual digital microphones with Acer PurifiedVoice technology for conference calls. Powering the laptop under the hood there is a 13th Gen Intel Core i5 processor which is paired with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU.
The laptop has up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage space. This gaming laptop also has advanced technologies such as DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and AI-specialized Tensor Cores on GeForce RTX GPUs, which provide gamers with a speed boost during gaming, as per the company. Additionally, the laptop also comes with Nvidia’s Optimus technology, which Acer says enhances performance while balancing battery life.
The Aspire 5 also has an FHD camera and temporal noise reduction technology. Connectivity-wise, this new offering from Acer has a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4 support, USB A-port, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, and an HDMI 2.1 port that supports up to 8K videos. The laptop packs a 50Wh Li-ion battery with support for a 65W charger.
