The brand has taken the wraps off a new Nitro laptop which is the dedicated gaming series of the brand. The new Acer Nitro 5 (2023) is the first laptop in India to sport AMD Ryzen 7000 series processor. It is also equipped with GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, up to 32GB of RAM, and more. Acer has priced India’s first laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 series chipset at Rs 79,990. They have unveiled the product in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The product will be available through Flipkart, Acer E-store, and Acer exclusive stores. The company has announced an instant discount of Rs 3000 on the exchange through Flipkart.

Acer has equipped the laptop with a 15.6 inches display with IPS technology. The display has a QHD resolution, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a 3ms response screen time. The laptop is backed by a 57.5 Wh 4-cell Li-ion battery, which offers up to 8 hours of battery life. Under the hood, it is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series chipset. The octa-core chipset is built on a 5nm process, has 16 threads, and has a clock speed of 4.55GHz.

Acer has equipped the Acer Nitro 5 (2023) laptop with GDDR6 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPU. The brand also equips the laptop with two DDR5 slots by which RAM can be expanded up to 32GB and two slots for M.2 PCIe SSDs1. The laptop features dual-fan cooling, dual intakes (top and bottom), and a quad-exhaust port design to sustain peak performance.

The Acer Nitro 5 (2023) laptop is also equipped with a 4-zone RGB keyboard, and the WASD and arrow keys are also highlighted for easier visibility. Acer lets users control fan speeds, lighting, and more using the NitroSense utility app. The laptop has a MUX (Multiplexer) switch, allowing users to enable or disable the integrated GPU manually.
