Amazon Prime Video is coming up with its first Hindi horror series. It announced the release date of Adhura, a gripping and suspenseful journey into the supernatural realm, on its platform to be July 7. The seven-episode series is now streaming exclusively in India and in 240 other countries and territories. “Supernatural horror is an extremely popular genre not just in India but across the world, so we are extremely excited to partner with Nikkhil Advani once again, in a genre that neither Emmay Entertainment nor Prime Video has previously attempted,” said Aparna Purohit, head of India Originals, Prime Video, when announcing the show. “Adhura, our first Hindi-language original horror series, will undoubtedly captivate, disturb, and engage our viewers,” she further added.
When and Where to Watch Adhura
Amazon Prime Video announced that it will be premiering the horror series Adhura on its platform on July 7 and now it is streaming the show. Viewers will need to have a subscription to the streaming service to watch the gripping tale of horror.

Official Trailer and Plot
“Adhura,” a film about guilt, remorse, and revenge, follows the students and faculty at a prominent boarding school as secrets and terrifying events afflict them in two timelines, 2022 and 2007. When Adhiraj Jaisingh (Ishwak Singh) meets disturbed 10-year-old pupil Vedant Malik (Shrenik Arora), what begins as a sentimental reunion turns nasty. The story unravels the mystery as the past and present meet, and a dark secret that connects Adhiraj to Vedant threatens to surface.
Rasika Dugal, Ishwak Singh, Shrenik Arora, and Poojan Chhabra play the key roles. The show also stars Rahul Dev, Zoa Morani, Rijul Ray, Sahil Salathia, Aru Krishansh Vera, KC Shankar, and Jaimini Pathak. Ananya Banerjee wrote the seven episodes of the series, which she also co-directed with Gauravv K Chawla. Producing credit goes to Emmay Entertainment’s Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani.
