Apple iPhone 14 launch event will be hosted on September 7. At the event, the company is expected to launch four new iPhone models, including a new iPhone 14 Max/ 14 Plus. Alongside the iPhones, Apple is also rumoured to launch the iPad 10th-generation, iPad Pro 2022 and the Apple Watch Series 8. If all of this is not enough, a new leak claims that the new AirPods Pro 2 will also launch at the upcoming Apple event.

The new piece of information comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who has a reputation for his Apple-related leaks. Gurman, in his latest newsletter edition of Power On, said that the new AirPods Pro is finally coming this year.

Apple AirPods Pro 2 Launch

Apple will finally release its new AirPods Pro 2 at the event on September 7. The company has not confirmed any official details about the same. Gurman did not reveal any details about the pricing or availability details of the new premium AirPods. He, however, confirmed that the AirPods Pro successor will be announced at the event on Wednesday.

The design is unlikely to change. This means that the AirPods Pro 2 will sport a stem design with silicone ear tips. There have been several rumours about the new AirPods Pro. Some of these include the new H2 chip for improved audio quality, better battery life, etc. The AirPods Pro 2 are also rumoured to get a new charging case with Find My Support. There have been rumours of the charging case getting support for USB Type-C instead of Lightning as well.

The AirPods Pro successor is also rumoured to offer improved ecosystem features. Apart from automatic in-ear detection, the Pro wireless earbuds are said to offer fitness tracking capabilities. However, the details about the same are very scarce at the time of writing this.

In addition to this, it is rumoured that the TWS will offer Bluetooth LE support, which could unlock the ability to support multiple devices at the same time. More details should surface at the event on September 7.
