Airtel Offers 400MB Extra Daily Data: Here Are All The Compatible Plans

More than two years after Jio came into the picture, players like Airtel and Vodafone-Idea are in a continuous struggle to attract new consumers and to retain old ones. In the case of Airtel, the company has also started to offer additional benefits like a free subscription to Airtel TV, and Wynk Music. The company also offers Netflix vouchers to several of its prepaid and postpaid users. This is apart from other benefits like a free subscription for Norton Mobile for one year. In a new move to keep its prepaid users happy, Airtel has started providing an extra 400MB of data for prepaid users on select plans. The move, it seems, is to retain its existing subscriber base by offering them compelling data and voice plans.

The plans in which users will get 400MB of extra data include the ones that cost INR 399, INR 448, and INR 499. The added benefits were first reported by our friends over at Telecom Talk. These plans are yet to be updated on Airtel’s website. On the MyAirtel app, however, users can check the details of the same and even recharge with the same plan.

Airtel Prepaid Plans With 400MB Additional Data

The INR 399 plan is the cheapest of the three and offers 84 days of validity with 1.4GB of daily data with unlimited calls. The same plan earlier offered 1GB of data per day. The plan offers 117.6GB of data in total across the 84-day validity period. Moving on to the second plan, this one costs INR 448 and comes with a validity of 82 days. The plan offers 1.5GB of data per day and unlimited calls as well. With the added 400mB benefit, users will get 1.9GB of data per day. The third plan, also the most expensive, costs INR 499 and has a validity of 84 days. This plan offered 2GB of data and unlimited calls earlier. The 400MB benefit added here means that you will get 2.4GB of data daily with this plan. That is close to 200GB of data allowance throughout the validity period.

As the norm is, all these plans have national roaming activated with free incoming and outgoing calls. STD calls, both outgoing and incoming, are active as well. There is a cap of 100 free local and national SMS, though.
