NDTV Hop to Counter Yupp TV?

Yupp TV is one of the largest OTT providers in India. The service allows its subscribers to stream their favorite movie, TV show or a channel from a catalogue of over 200 live TV channels and 8,000 plus movies across multiple regional languages. NDTV Hop claims to have included original content and has included multiple categories to attract users, but it will have a tough time beating the current digital content providers. Unlike NDTV Hop, Yupp TV is not device specific. NDTV, on the other hand, is using the mobile-only functionality as its main selling point. Yupp TV has managed to generate a significant traffic over the past couple of years. Let’s see if NDTV Hop will be able to mark its territory.
