
Telecom operator Bharti Airtel, in a new move, has hiked the price of its existing recharge plans in the country. Airtel says that it has always tried maintaining that the mobile ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) should be at Rs 200 and ultimately at Rs 300. The company says that this ARPU will provide a reasonable return on capital invested and also allow for a healthy business model. As a result, the plans are now costlier by up to 25%. Some plans have seen a hike of even Rs. 501. These prices will be applicable starting November 26th, 2021.
Airtel’s cheapest plan, which costs Rs. 79 right now, is all set to get about 25% costlier, and users will now have to shell out Rs. 99. It’s not just one recharge plan that will cost more, the company has hiked prices of almost all unlimited recharge packs. Take a look at the new recharge plan prices and the benefits below,

Apart from these plans, Airtel has also increased the prices of data top-up plans. For 3GB data top-up, users will have to spend Rs. 58, compared to Rs. 48, starting November 26th.
