The Airtel Xstream box which arrived back in 2019 has now received a price cut in India. Airtel has slashed the Xstream Box’s price by Rs 499 to Rs 2,000. The reduced pricing is only available for customers purchasing a new Airtel Digital TV connection along with the Xstream Box option. You Can Now Purchase the Airtel Xstream Box for Rs 2,000 in India
As per a report by DreamDTH, the Xstream box’s reduced pricing is only applicable for new connections via the company’s official website and authorised dealers. It is said to be available as a limited period offer.
Airtel’s website has been updated to show the updated pricing of Rs 2,000. The box was previously available for Rs 2,499 from the manufacturer. The company is also offering its new customers a variety of OTT services, including Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, Eros Now, Hungama, and others.
According to the source, the packaged perks include a one-year subscription to Disney+ Hotstar, three months of Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, Eros Now, and Hungama, among other apps.
The Airtel Xstream Box runs on the Android TV OS, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie and includes access to Google’s Play Store and a number of apps. Airtel’s Xstream Box not only supports OTT but also works with traditional DTH services. Consumers looking to purchase the box must note that they must maintain their Airtel DTH account recharged with a minimum monthly sum of Rs. 153 to keep their DTH and OTT services active.
Previously, Airtel introduced a new Xstream Premium bundle where users may choose between the monthly or yearly option priced at Rs 149 and Rs 1499 respectively.
The bundle offers users a bunch of OTT subscriptions including SonyLIV, Lionsgate Play, Eros Now, ManoramaMax, Hoichoi, ShemarooMe, Ultra, Epic On, ShortsTV, KLIKK, Divo, Dollywood Play, and Namma Flix.
