Amazfit GTR 2e, GTS 2e Announced at CES 2021 Launching in India Next Week

Amazfit GTS 2e and GTR 2e smartwatches do not support Bluetooth calling.

Amazfit has announced Amazfit GTR 2e, and GTS 2e in the ongoing CES 2021. These GT 2 series smartwatches are cheaper variants of GTR 2, and GTS 2, and compromise on features such as onboard storage for music, and Bluetooth calls. Both these smartwatches will also be making their debut in the Indian market next week. To those unaware, Amazfit India has been on a launch spree. The brand has launched around 8 smartwatch models in the last 5-6 months in the country. The company launched GTR 2, GTS 2, and GTS 2 Mini in India last month. Let us have a detailed look at Amazfit GTR 2e, and GTS 2e specifications, and features.

Amazfit GTR 2e Specifications

The GTR 2e packs a circular dial with curved corners and edges. The body of the GTR 2e is made up of an Aluminium alloy body. The smartwatch measure46.4×46.4×10.8mm and weighs around 32grams.

The display panel on the smartwatch is a 1.39-inch AMOLED panel with a 454×454 pixel resolution that results in a pixel density of about 326PPI. There are also two buttons on the right side of the smartwatch to wake it up.

Coming to the battery, the GTS 2e packs a 471mAh battery unit under-the-hood. The company claims that it can last for 24 days with typical usage on a single charge. The GTS 2e can last for up to 45 days with basic usage as per the company.

Amazfit GTS 2e Specifications

The GTS 2e packs a squircle dial with curved corners and edges. The body of the GTS 2e is made up of an Aluminium alloy body, and matt frosted bottom case. The smartwatch measure 42.8×35.6×9.85mm and weighs around 25grams.

The display panel on the smartwatch is a 1.65-inch AMOLED panel with a 348×442 pixel resolution that results in a pixel density of about 341PPI. There is also a button on the right side of the smartwatch to wake it up.

Coming to the battery, the GTS 2e packs a 246mAh battery unit under-the-hood. The company claims that it can last for 14 days with typical usage on a single charge. The GTS 2e can last for up to 24 days with basic usage as per the company.

Amazfit GTS 2e, and GTS 2e support 90 sports mode, along with regular activity, sleep monitoring, and heart-rate monitoring. Both these smartwatches feature Huami’s self-developed BioTracker, 2 PPG biological sensors, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Geomagnetic Sensor, and Ambient Light Sensor, and are also water-resistant up to 50 meters.
