Amazfit, the company known for its wide range of smartwatch and wearable has launched its flagship product called the Amazfit GTR 2 today in India. With its classic elegant design, the Amazfit GTR 2 is meant for the modern urban lifestyle. The USP of the smartwatch is AMOLED display, 50+ watch faces, the latest BioTracker, PPG optical sensor, and a lot more. The Amazfit GTR 2 in India is priced at Rs 12,999 for the Sport Edition and Rs 13,499 for the Classic Edition. The smartwatch will be up for grabs via e-commerce site Flipkart starting today.

The Amazfit GTR 2 features a vivid round-shaped 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with crafted 3D curved glass and metal watch case. The display offers 100% NTSC high colour saturation, 450nits brightness and 326ppi HD resolution, while the fitness tracker is protected by 3D Corning Gorilla Glass with anti-fingerprint coating and optical Diamond-like Carbon (oDLC) coating make sure the screen is scratch-resistant and easy to keep clean.
The Amazfit GTR 2 screen can also rotate by 180°, ensuring total comfort, whether you are left handed or right handed. Besides it comes with more than 50 watch faces users also have a custom always-on display, so they can see their personalized interface at any time.
Under the hood, the Amazfit GTR 2 is fuelled by a high-capacity 471mAh battery. The company claims that it is capable of delivering a battery life of up to 14 days with typical use. The smartwatch offers waterproofing protection up to a depth of 50 meters, It can be worn worry-free for daily use, in any weather or when swimming.
The fitness tracker also supports controlling mobile music playback through the watch, and with a massive 3GB of local music storage, users can store up to 600 songs and allow you to upgrade your watch software faster via Wi-Fi, as well as transferring your favourite tunes from your mobile phone to your watch.
On the sensor part, the Amazfit GTR 2 comes with the latest BioTracker 2 PPG optical sensor, which is capable of providing high-precision all-day heart rate monitoring, and also supports OxygenBeats to measure blood-oxygen saturation. The GTR 2 makes it easier to understand your sleep patterns by tracking sleep stages, including the Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep stage, and even daytime naps.
