Amazfit PowerBuds Pro

Amazfit launched the PowerBuds Pro last year in India and other markets. The new truly wireless earbuds feature an in-built heart rate sensor and were launched for Rs 6,999. The company has now launched a “Pro” version of its TWS. Amazfit’s new Pro PowerBuds feature a small stem design, similar to what we see on the likes of the Apple AirPods Pro. The earbuds also come with support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). Much like the non-Pro model, the PowerBuds Pro features support some health-monitoring features. Let’s take a look at the Amazfit PowerBuds Pro price, specs, features, and other details.

Amazfit PowerBuds Pro launched

Amazfit has launched the PowerBuds Pro for USD 150 (roughly Rs 11,200). The earbuds will be available for pre-order in the US starting July 15. The India pricing and availability details remain unknown. However, considering that Amazfit actively launches its new products, we can expect an India launch of the PowerBuds Pro soon.

The new Pro PowerBuds sport a stem design and have silicone earplugs.  It comes with health monitoring features like an in-ear PPG heart rate sensor for heart rate monitoring. The earbuds also come with a built-in accelerometer that tracks the user’s cervical spine and will drop a reminder to move and stretch their head and neck to improve their posture. It can also track running and show relevant stats on the Zepp Health App.

In terms of audio features, the TWS comes with ANC support up to 40dB. It has four different ANC modes, including Indoor, travel, sports, and adaptive. The earbuds also feature a “Thru” mode that is similar to the Transparency Mode feature we see on some ANC earbuds. It lets users stay aware of the ambient noise using the three mics that are onboard.

The new Amazfit earbuds support Siri and Google Assistant. They are compatible with Bluetooth 5.0 and Android smartphones running Android 5.0 or later. iPhone users need to have their devices with iOS 10 or later to support the new Amazfit earbuds. The Pro PowerBuds is claimed to offer up to 30 hours of battery life in total. Each earbud can offer up to 9 hours of battery with the ANC turned off. Enable the ANC and you will get up to five hours of juice.
