The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite, a younger influx of Amazon’s Fire TV Stick, has been released in India. While the dongle itself hasn’t changed much since it was first introduced in 2020, Amazon is now including a new Alexa Voice Remote Lite with app controls to make moving between applications even easier. Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite: Price in India

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite with the Alexa Voice Remote Lite has been priced at Rs 2,999 in India. The launch pricing is identical to the official launch price of the original Fire TV Stick Lite.

However, the older variant, is currently available with a discount of Rs 500, effectively bringing down the cost to Rs 2,499. Note that the older variant doesn’t include the new Alexa Voice Remote Lite and has a remote without the dedicated app buttons.

Features

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite offers support for Full-HD streaming with HDR technology to deliver an immersive viewing experience. Amazon is offering the stick with 8GB of onboard storage and the stick itself is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor with IMG GE8300 GPU.

The new Alexa Voice Remote Lite features dedicated buttons for opening popular streaming applications like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Prime Music, among other things. There’s also a blue button with the Alexa logo that may be used to summon Alexa.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite with New Alexa Voice Remote Lite supports voice control helping users control their TVs using just their voice. Connectivity options on the stick include Bluetooth version 5.0, an HDMI port, a micro-USB port, and Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac.
