Amazon forayed into the smart TV segment in the country with AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition 4K Smart TVs. These TVs were launched earlier this month. Amazon is expanding its range of smart TVs, and has now added multiple models to the AmazonBasics smart TV lineup. The new AmazonBasics TVs are available in 32-inch and 43-inch screen sizes. AmazonBasics range of TVs are powered by Amazon Fire OS, and come with Alexa support. Let us have a detailed look at the AmazonBasics TV price in India, features, and specifications.

AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition: Price in India

Amazon has launched three new affordable variants under the AmaznBasics lineup. These new smart TVs are available in 32-inch and 43-inch screen sizes. The 32-inch TV has an HD resolution, while the 43-inch variant is available in FHD and 4K UHD resolutions. Following is the pricing of new AmazonBasics TVs,

  • AmazonBasics 32-inch HD Ready Smart LED TV – Rs. 13,999
  • AmazonBasics 43-inch FHD Smart LED TV – Rs. 23,499
  • AmazonBasics 43-inch 4K UHD Smart LED TV – Rs. 27,499

AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition: Specifications and Features

Starting things off with one of the most important components of a TV – display, 32-inch TV features an HD Ready display panel with a 1366×768 pixel resolution, while the 43-inch TVs feature FHD panel with 1920×1080 pixel resolution. There is one more 43-inch TV variant that packs a 4K UHD display panel with 3840×2160 pixel resolution. All three TVs have a 60Hz refresh rate display that supports a 178° viewing angle.

Amazon says that these are A+ grade LED panels that are equipped with Amlogic Imaging engine, dynamic contrast, dynamic backlight, advanced picture processing, and anti-aliasing. The company hasn’t mentioned in peak brightness of display panels on newly launched TVs. Though, the company says that these are ultra-bright panels. Apart from this 43-inch 4K UHD TV also features Dolby Vision and HDR 10 + HLG support.

Under-the-hood, the 32-inch HD Ready and 43-inch FHD TVs pack a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, while the 43-inch 4K UHD TV has a 1.95GHz quad-core processor. The 32-inch HD Ready and 43-inch FHD TVs pack 1GB RAM, while the 43-inch 4K UHD TV gets 1.5GB memory. All three TVs have 8GB onboard storage. These TVs have an inbuilt 20 watts, speaker, with Dolby Atmos support.

On the connectivity front, the 32-inch HD Ready and 43-inch FHD TVs have 2x HDMI ports, while the 43-inch 4K UHD variant has 3x HDMI 2.0 ports. Apart from this, all three TVs have 2x USB ports, along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0. There is also an IR port to connect devices like Soundbars, Receivers, and Set-top boxes.

Talking about the software, these newly launched televisions boot FireTV OS. The FireTV OS supports over 5,000 apps including Netflix, Disney + Hotstar, Prime Video, and YouTube, thanks to the Fire OS store. The FireTV OS also supports display mirroring and has a digital assistant Alexa built-in. The remote also features Alexa, Prime Videos, Amazon Music, and Netflix shortcut keys.
