Apex Legends Mobile Regional Launch is Now Live

Respawn Entertainment has shared the key focus areas of the regional launch, specifically mentioning matchmaking and progression systems, backend infrastructure and in-game commerce, as well as regional live operational capabilities. Users in participating countries will be able to share direct feedback with the devs, allowing them to focus on key areas of the game.

Apex Legends Mobile is being developed by Respawn Entertainment in conjunction with Lightspeed & Quantum Studios. The devs have also confirmed that this will be a standalone experience independent of the console/PC version and that there will be no crossplay available in the game.

The Regional Launch build of the game will contain less content compared to the global launch, but there is still quite a lot to enjoy. Players will be able to select from a total of 9 Legends with Caustic only playable after unlocking Battle Pass Tier 25.

The only map available in the regional launch will be World’s Edge. Game modes include the likes of Team Deathmatch, Mini Battle Royale, 3v3 Arenas, and Ranked Battle Royale. Players will also be able to make and join Clubs in the Regional Launch build of the game.
