Apex Legends Season 12: Defiance is almost here and the Apex Games’ newest Legend is looking to make a big impact on launch. Mad Maggie, the crazed Warlord of Salvo, condemned to join the Apex Games, is bringing a whole lot to the table, including a pretty well-rounded kit.

Mad Maggie, from the looks of it, will be an Offense-based character, perfect for players who typically have a run-and-gun style. Her Passive is tied to her being able to use a Shotgun to move faster than usual and see enemies she’s hurt through walls.

Mad Maggie has the potential to be an S-Tier Legend that is capable of taking on entire squads by herself. Apex Legends Season 12: Defiance drops on February 8, 2022.

Apex Legends Season 12 Defiance

From the looks of it, Mad Maggie appears to be in the same vein as Octane, given so much of her kit revolves around speed and relentless pursuit of enemies. Maggie’s passive ability can come to great use when trying to hunt down players in close quarters and finish them off before they can revive their teammates or collect their banners.

Maggie’s tactical ability can drill right through Gibraltar’s shield so that makes her an incredibly useful part of the squad. This is a great way to balance Gibraltar’s shield without nerfing it to death. Finally, her Ultimate Ability seems to be the weakest link in her kit as it is essentially a giant grenade that releases speed-boosting pads.

While it can potentially be extremely clutch in close-quarter combat, it might need a little experimenting to get just right.
