Apple’s New 8th Gen iPad and 4th Gen iPad Air to Soon Launch in India, Amazon Availability Confirmed

Apple recently introduced its new range of iPads at the Time Flies event a few days back. The company introduced two new iPads including iPad Air (2020) and 8th Gen iPad during the launch event. The latest Apple iPads come with the latest hardware and software. The major highlight of the 4th iPad Air is the new Apple A14 Bionic chipset, making it the first Apple product to boast the latest chipset from Apple. The 8th iPad also comes with some interesting features. Apple announced the pricing and availability of its latest iPads for the global markets and now, it seems that both the devices will be available for the Indian market soon.

Apple 8th Gen iPad and 4th Gen iPad Air availability

Apple 8th generation iPad has been listed on Amazon, which means that the tablet is coming soon to India. The 4th Gen iPad Air has also appeared on Amazon and both the items are currently listed as unavailable. This also confirms that the tablets will be available for purchase from the e-commerce platform when they are launched in India.

Apple 8th Gen iPad and 4th Gen iPad Air price in India

The new Apple iPad Air (4th Gen) price in India starts from Rs 54,900 for the 64GB Wi-Fi model, while the 256GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs 68,900. The WiFi + LTE model with 64GB storage is priced at Rs 66,900, while the 256GB model will cost you Rs 80,900. The tablet is available in five colour options including Silver, Space Grey, Rose Gold, Green and Sky Blue.

The Apple 8th Gen iPad price in India is INR 29,900 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model, while the 128GB option is priced at INR 37,900. The Wi-Fi + LTE model is priced at INR 41,900 for 32GB option and INR 49,900 for 128GB variant. The tablet is available for purchase in Silver, Space Grey and Rose Gold.

The Apple iPad Air (2020) equips with a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with 3.8 million pixels, P3 colour support, True Tone and comes with an anti-reflective coating. The tablet features Apple A14 Bionic chipset, which is build using 5nm process and offers up to 40 per cent boost in performance and 30 per cent improvement in graphics.

Moving on, the Apple iPad Air (4th Gen) features a 7MP front-facing FaceTime HD camera. On the rear, you get a 12MP rear camera, which is also present in the Apple iPad Pro. The Apple iPad Air (4th Gen) comes with USB Type-C port for up to 50gbps data transfer along with Wi-Fi 6 performance and 60 per cent faster LTE connectivity.

Apple 8th Gen iPad features a 10.2-inch Retina display and comes with A12 Bionic chipset. The latest iPad also supports first-generation Apple Pencil and one can draw, take notes, mark up documents and more. The iPad supports gigabit-class LTE connectivity and comes with Touch ID for unlocking the iPad. The company says that users will get all-day battery life with the new iPad.
