
Apple has quietly launched a new pair of Beats wireless earbuds. The Beats Studio Buds are officially available in the US for $150 (roughly Rs 11,000). Several reports and leaks of the new Beats earbuds had leaked in the past. The truly wireless earbuds (TWS) sport an all-new design and come with a bunch of features. It comes in three colour options – Black, white, and red. Apple’s new Beats earbuds also come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). The in-ear earphones also come with playback controls, Find My integration, etc. There is no word on the India launch date of the new buds. Apple launches new Beats Studio Buds
Apple has launched the Beats Studio Buds. The new TWS sports an in-ear design and comes with features like ANC, hands-free Siri, etc.
The Studio Buds feature an in-ear design similar to the AirPods Pro. However, it does not feature the extended stem. Each earbud weighs 5.1 grams. Users will get three different sizes of silicone ear tips. Both earbuds come with physical buttons on the ends for controls. Users can press the button once to play/ pause music or answer a phone call. Press twice to forward and thrice to skip back. Users can also long press the button to switch between ANC and Transparency Mode. It also comes with support for hands-free Siri.
Beats claims that its new earbuds offer up to eight hours of listening time on a single charge. The charging case offers two additional cycles, amounting to a total of 24 hours. With ANC enabled, the earbuds offer up to five hours of battery life, whereas the case offers another 10 hours. The case can be charged via a USB Type-C cable. It does not feature wireless charging support.
The new Beats earbuds support iOS and Android devices. They are the first Beats products to come with support for Apple’s Find My and Find my Device on Android. Users can track the last location of their Studio Buds and find them if they are in the Bluetooth range. There is no word on the Studio Buds availability in India at the moment.
