Apple also revealed that its second India Store will open in New Delhi. The New Delhi Apple Store will open in Saket. The barricade for Apple Saket was revealed this morning and features a unique design that takes inspiration from Delhi’s many gates, each signifying a new chapter to the city’s storied past. “The colourful artwork celebrates Apple’s second store in India — located right in the nation’s capital,” Apple said.
These new retail locations mark a significant expansion in India that will offer great new ways to browse, discover, and buy Apple products with exceptional service and experiences for customers.
Beginning April 20, customers will be able to stop by to explore Apple’s latest product lineup, find creative inspiration, and get personalised service and support from the Apple Saket store’s team of Specialists, Creatives, and Geniuses.

Apple also announced a special Today at Apple series — “Mumbai Rising” — running from opening day through the summer to celebrate the opening of the first Apple Store in India in BKC on April 18. “Bringing visitors, local artists, and creatives together, these sessions will offer hands-on activities with Apple’s products and services that celebrate the local community and culture in Mumbai,” the company stated. The Apple BKC store is located in Jio World Drive, BKC.
The opening of two retail stores in India further reiterates Apple’s focus towards the world’s second-largest smartphone market. While the company has witnessed significant growth over the past few quarters, it still owns a minuscule market share in India. The opening of official retail stores in India could help capture more customers, who can purchase Apple products by experiencing products in person. Apple also offers trade-in value, exchange deals and more for its store customers.
The company is reportedly also considering opening physical store locations in malls and high-end shopping locations in others cities, such as Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. More details might follow soon.
