Apple has launched its latest 24-inch iMac M3 at its recently concluded online event called Scary Fast alongside the newest MacBook Pro models. Notably, the Cupertino-based tech giant last launched the 24-inch iMac in 2021 with the first generation M1 chipset. Two years later, Apple skipped the M2 and launched the 24-inch iMac refresh in 2023 with the latest M3 processor.

According to Apple, the 3nm M3 chipset is around 60% faster than the M1 processor. Apart from this, the new 24-inch iMac comes with more or less the same design as its M1 predecessor. Let’s take a look at the 24-inch iMac M3 price in India, availability, and specifications.

24-inch iMac M3 Price in India, Availability

Apple is offering the baseline 8-core GPU model starting at Rs 1,34,900 with a special price of Rs 1,29,900 for students and educators. This model comes in green, pink, blue, and silver colours. On the other hand, the more powerful 10-core GPU model starts at Rs 1,54,900 and can be purchased for Rs 1,49,900 with education discount. This model comes in green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver.


Interested buyers can order the new 24-inch iMac M3 on the Apple India website and Apple Store app right away. It will start shipping to customers starting November 7. The new iMac will be available in Apple Stores and Apple Authorised Reseller stores on the same date.

The 24-inch iMac M3 comes with a 4.5K Retina Display with 4,480 x 2,520 pixels screen resolution and support for 1 Billion colours. Additionally, the display is equipped with True Tone technology, P3 wide colour gamut, and 500 nits brightness. The 24-inch iMac M3 supports one external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz with native DisplayPort output over USB-C. Additionally, the new iMac comes with Dolby Vision, HDR, HDR10, and HLG. As for audio, Apple has equipped the new iMac with a high-fidelity six-speaker system with force-cancelling woofers, spatial audio with Dolby Atmos, and a three-mic array.

In the performance department, the 24-inch iMac M3 comes with the latest M3 silicon. Apple is giving options between an 8-core CPU and a 10-core GPU with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. The new chipset features Dynamic Caching, hardware-accelerated mesh shading, and hardware-accelerated ray tracing. While Dynamic Caching enhances RAM management, the other two improve gaming and creative graphic rendering.

Apple is offering Magic Keyboard, and Magic Mouse for input with the 8-core GPU model. The 10-core GPU model also gets the same accessories with the exception of the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Thunderbolt or USB-C 4 ports.
