A new leak from tipster l0vetodream reiterates the rumour. The tipster has uploaded the upcoming Apple Event’s invite logo alongside the retro rainbow Apple logo with the G3 iMac models. Rumours so far have suggested that Apple will launch multiple products at the Spring Loaded event in April. Among the list is the 2021 iMac. Tipster l0vetodream has corroborated some of the previous leaks that suggested the launch of a redesigned iMac. The tipster has uploaded an image of the Apple Event’s invite logo along with the G3 iMac models.
The tipster’s tweet suggests that the iMac will come in a variety of colour options. Previously, tipster Jon Prosser had also claimed that Apple would launch a new iMac later this year. However, Prosser did not share details on the timeline of the launch event.
The 2021 iMac is set to get major design changes. Upfront, the display will be surrounded by narrow bezels. The thickness of the bezels would be trimmed down significantly, making it look like a bigger iPad Pro design. The company is said to be working on two versions that would replace the current 21.5-inch and 27-inch models. l0vetodream had recently tipped that the upcoming models will be bigger than the 27-inch iMac.
Apple is also said to slap the 2020 iPad Air colours on the new iMac. This means that the upcoming Apple iMac could come in Rose Gold, Green, Sky Blue, apart from the Silver and Space Grey colourway.
