Just a few hours after teasing the launch of a new tablet, Apple has announced the new iPad Pro and iPad (10th Gen) silently. Apple has unveiled the latest gen iPad Pro tablet via press release and the company has announced pricing and availability of the same as well. The biggest upgrade here comes in the form of a chipset inside.
The newly launched Apple iPad Pro comes with the Apple M2 chip, which is the same chip powering the new 13-inch MacBook Pro. In addition to the Pro model, the company has also announced the iPad (10th Gen) powered by the A14 Bionic chip and it comes in four colourful options. Both tablets run on iPad OS 16. The iPad Pro comes in multiple storage options. The base model with 128GB starts at Rs 81,900 and will be available starting October 28th across online and offline stores. It will be available in Silver and Space Grey colour options. Buyers can get up to Rs 7,000 instant discount with HDFC Bank or American Express credit cards. In addition, there is also No cost EMI options on most banks.

iPad Pro: Specifications and Features
The all-new Apple iPad Pro comes in two sizes. There is an 11-inch model as well as a 12.9-inch model. The 11-inch model comes with an LED screen with a 2388×1668 pixel resolution while the larger 12.9-inch model comes with a mini LED screen and 2732×2048-pixel resolution. Apart from the change in display size, most of the specs remain the same between the Pro duo.
The new iPad Pro devices are powered by Apple’s in-house M2 chipset with four power-efficient and four performance-centric cores. There is also a 10-core GPU. The iPad Pro comes with up to 2TB of storage and there are also Wi-Fi-only and cellular (5G) models available.
Further, in terms of optics, the iPad Pro comes with a 12MP camera on the back and a 12MP true depth camera on the front for selfies and video calls. The front camera supports facetime, centre stage, and Full HD video recording. While the company did not reveal the battery capacity, the iPad Pro supports 20W charging. Other features include a quad-speaker setup, studio-quality microphones, Wi‑Fi 6E, Face ID, 5G (sub‑6 GHz) with 4×4 MIMO, Type-C port and GPS/GNSS.
iPad 10th Gen: Price in India and Availability
The new iPad is available in Silver, Blue, Pink, and Yellow colour options and the 64GB starts at Rs 44,900. iPad 10th Gen: Specifications and Features
The 10th gen iPad comes in 64GB and 256GB storage options. The tablet is available in Wi-Fi as well as cellular models. The tablet comes with a 10.9-inch LED screen with a 2360×1640-pixel resolution with 500 nits of brightness and fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. Under the hood, this tablet is powered by the new A14 Bionic chip with a 6‑core CPU and quad-core GPU with a 16-core neural engine. This is the same chipset powering the new iPhone 14.
It comes with a 12MP camera on the front as well as on the rear. It also supports 1080p recording, facetime, and centre stage. Other features include dual mics, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a Type-C port, and Touch ID.
