Several key details of the upcoming iPhone models have leaked ahead of the launch. Apple is likely to stick to the iPhone 12 design while making improvements under the hood. Apple is said to prioritise the camera performance and battery life on the 2021 iPhone models. A report from Bloomberg claims that Apple will introduce at least three new camera and video-recording features. Let’s take a look at the Apple iPhone 13 specs, features and other details leaked before the launch.

Apple iPhone 13 series camera features tipped

Apple iPhone 13 series is likely to debut in September. Ahead of the launch, some key details about the device’s camera have leaked. According to Bloomberg, Apple will introduce Portrait mode video on the next iPhone. A new ProRes video-recording feature will let iPhone users capture HD or 4K clips in a higher-quality format that gives editors more control during post-production.

Apple will also add a new filter-like system that improves the look and colours of photos. It states that users will be able to choose from several styles to apply to their photos, including one for showing colours at either a warmer or cooler temperature while keeping whites neutral.

The upcoming Pro iPhones will house three sensors along with the LED flash and LiDAR sensor. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the ultrawide camera on the Pro models will feature autofocus support. Apple will introduce a 6-piece lens instead of the presently existing 5-piece lens.

The most noticeable upgrade is going to be around the display. While the screen size is likely to remain the same as the iPhone 12 series, the notch is getting smaller. Apple will move the earpiece to the top bezel to reduce the size of the notch. It will continue to offer Face ID tech. Apple is also rumoured to introduce a 120Hz LTPO display on the Pro models.

Other specs include a faster A15 Bionic chip and up to 512GB of internal storage on the Pro models. Previous reports suggested that the new iPhones will get a bigger battery. The top-end 13 Pro Max will feature a 4,352 mAh battery. The 13 Pro and the vanilla iPhone 13 will have a 3,095 mAh battery, which is bigger than the 2,815 mAh cell found on the current iPhone 12 and 12 Pro models. The 13 mini is rumoured to pack a 2,406mAh battery. Apple is also said to introduce a larger wireless charging coil that could result in faster wireless charging support.
