Apple unveiled the new iPhone SE 2022 and the updated iPad Air with M1 chip alongside the new Mac Studio and a Studio Monitor at its March 8th event. The new smartphone shares the same design blueprint as the original iPhone SE 2020 model.

Apple’s online store will begin taking pre-orders for the iPhone SE 2022 and the new iPad Air today.  The pre-order window opens up at 6.30 PM. Let’s look at the iPhone SE 2022 and the iPad Air, as well as their pre-order windows and prices in India.

You Can Now Pre Order the iPhone SE 2022 and the iPad Air 5 in India

On Friday, March 11, 2022, at 6:30 p.m., the pre-order window for the Apple iPhone SE 2022 will open on the official Apple website. Customers who pre-order the smartphone will be among the first to receive it in India.


The iPhone SE 3 with a 4.7-inch HD retina screen, the A15 Bionic chipset and support for 5G starts at Rs 43,900 for its base 64GB variant in India. The higher 128GB and 256GB storage options cost Rs 48,900 and Rs 58,900 respectively. The phone is available in three colourways –  Product Red, Midnight and Starlight.

The smartphone is now also available on Flipkart, with a “coming soon” status. Amazon India is yet to make the phone available.

Apple iPad Air M1

The updated Apple iPad Air sporting a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, Apple’s in-house M1 chipset, and a USB Type-C port starts at Rs 54,900 in the country. The 64GB variant with Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity is priced at Rs 68,900.

There’s also a 128GB option available in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + cellular options costing Rs 68,900 and Rs 82,900 respectively. It will be available in space grey, starlight, pink, purple, and blue colour options.
