Apple has just announced the iPhone SE 3 or iPhone SE 2022 edition. The company’s latest affordable iPhone comes with a lot of exciting features including a new and faster chipset, support for 5G, and much more. In addition to the launch of the new iPhone, the company also launched new iPad Air, new colour options for the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro (Green), and more products.

The iPhone SE 3 starts at Rs 43,900 in India for the 64GB variant. The new iPhone SE 2022 will be available in Product Red, Midnight and Starlight colour options. In the US, the iPhone SE 3 starts at $ 429. Pre-order starts on March 11 and will go on sale starting March 18.

iPhone SE 2022 Specifications
The iPhone SE 3 sports a 4.7-inch retina HD screen, which is similar to the last-gen iPhone SE (2020 Edition). In terms of design as well, the 2022 edition looks similar to the iPhone SE 2020 and the phone comes with glass protection on the back as well as on the front, which is similar to the iPhone 13. The first major change comes in the form of a new chipset with support for 5G. The iPhone SE 3 is powered by Apple’s in-house A15 Bionic chipset, which is said to bring a massive boost in terms of performance. The A15 Bionic chipset is built on a 5nm process with two ARMv8 high-performance cores and four energy-efficient cores.
Further, in terms of optics, the phone comes with a single 12MP rear camera along with an LED flash. The camera offers a bunch of shooting modes and there is a 7MP selfie camera on the front. Some of the camera features include deep fusion, smart HDR 4, and photographic styles. In terms of storage options, you get three options to choose from 一 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. In terms of software, the iPhone SE runs on the latest iOS 15.
Other features of the device include a Touch ID fingerprint scanner, IP67 water and dust resistant rating, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Siri voice assistant. Lastly, the phone doesn’t come with a charger in the box.
