iPhone SE 3 India launch imminent?

Apple has not yet confirmed the iPhone SE 3 launch date yet. However, it looks like the launch of the affordable iPhone is imminent. The report states that an iPhone with the model numbers A2595, A2783, and A2784 has been imported to India for testing purposes. It is said to be priced at around USD 300 (roughly Rs 22,500). The 91Mobiles report suspects that this model is the SE 3.

The upcoming SE 3 model is said to get 5G network support with an A15 chip. It will continue to sport the same design found in the 2020 model. This means that the phone will have a 4.7-inch display with a Touch ID Home button at the bottom. One can expect the iPhone SE 5G variant to feature a 12MP single camera setup on the back.

In addition to this, Apple has also imported two unannounced iPad models. One of the two models comes with the model numbers A2588 and A2589. This device is said to be the iPad Air, which has been valued between USD 500-700 (roughly Rs 37,500-52,300). As per leaks, the iPad Air 2022 could come with an Apple A15 Bionic chip, 5G network support, Centre Stage support, etc. it is said to sport the same design elements that Apple brought in the 2020 Air model.

The other iPad model is likely a budget iPad, which is priced at around USD 300 (roughly Rs 22,500). This variant has the model numbers A2757 and A2761. The upcoming budget iPad is said to get incremental upgrades over the 9th-generation model. However, details remain scarce at the moment.

The mentioned pricing is unlikely to be the launch price of the upcoming Apple products considering the local taxes and import duties that will be levied upon by the government.
