Apple could launch iPad Pro and AirTags in March 2021, claims new leak

Apple could launch the new 2021 iPad Pro models next month. According to a new leak, the new iPad models will launch in March 2021 alongside the AirTags. Several reports in the past have suggested that Apple could finally launch its tracker device in March 2021. Tipster Jon Prosser has now reiterated the claim. He also said that Apple iPad Pro 2021 models will launch in March this year.

Prosser tweeted about the Apple AirTags launch, saying that it is still on for a March launch and that he has not heard any further delays this time. The tipster has previously got the AirTags launch leak wrong a couple of times. AirTags will launch as a competitor to Samsung’s SmartTag that could be used to locate multiple devices and items. It is said to be linked to the Find My app on the iPhone, which will help locate the tagged product.

As for the iPad, Apple could launch an 11-inch and a 12.9-inch model. There have been rumours of a mini-LED display for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro model. The 11-inch model is likely to get the mini-LED display tech next year.

Comparing to the previous generation, the Pro iPad (2021) will sport the same thickness, but Apple will shave off some millimetres from the length and breadth. The iPad Pro 11 (2021) is rumoured to be ever so slightly smaller, thinner but will have the same thickness as before.
