Apple is hosting an event later this week where the company is expected to launch the brand new iPhone 14 series. Along with the launch of a new line of iPhones, the company is also expected to announce a few ecosystem products like the hearables and wearables.
At the September 7th event, Apple is expected to launch the AirPods Pro 2 as the successor to the AirPods Pro and in addition to these true wireless earbuds, the tech giant is also expected to unveil the next-gen Apple Watch smartwatch. A recent report revealed that the company is planning to launch the Apple Watch Pro and now, a report from 91mobiles has revealed the CAD renders of the same revealing the design of the upcoming wearable from Apple.
Apple Watch Pro Design Leaked Via CAD Render
Apple is expected to launch the Apple Watch Series 8 in a couple of days and along with that, the company is expected to announce its first “Pro” model in the wearable lineup. The new and upcoming Apple Watch Pro is said to feature the biggest display yet on an Apple Watch. The Watch Pro will come in a 49mm size, which is chunky and might not be for everyone.
The Apple Watch Pro has a large display upfront with thin bezels. To the right of the screen, we can see the digital crown, a microphone, and a dedicated button for multitasking. As of now, it is unclear if this design is exclusive to the Pro model. Apple might also introduce some Watch Pro exclusive strap options.
Further, the report says the right side of the smartwatch will feature a speaker out and there is also an additional button on the left, whose use case is a mystery for now. As the wearable is expected to feature a mic and a speaker setup, we can expect support for eSIM/cellular connectivity as well. Since the Watch Pro will come with a large display, Apple is expected to take advantage of the large screen estate and offer more health-related details and also overall more content on the screen. The company is also expected to bring new watch faces to the Pro model. Other expected features include a large battery, low-power mode, and a rugged titanium casing.
Lastly, the Apple Watch Pro could be priced anywhere from $900 to $1,000, which is upwards of Rs 71,800, which will make it the costliest wearable from the brand.
