Apple Watch Series 7 Pre-Orders Starts Today In India: Price, Specifications

The Apple Watch Series 7 will go on pre-order starting today in more than 50 countries including India. The price in India starts at Rs 41,900.

Apple Watch Series 7 was launched alongside the new iPhone 13 series and new iPads back on September 14. The company recently announced the price and availability of the Apple Watch Series 7 in India and today, the newest wearables from the house of Apple will be available for pre-orders in India. The Series 7 smartwatch from Apple comes with a bigger screen, S6 chipset, crack-resistant screen. Let’s take a look at the pricing, specifications, and features. 

Apple Watch Series 7 price, availability

Apple has announced only the starting price of the Apple Watch Series 7, however, the pricing of all the variants was revealed via Flipkart listing a few days back. The 41mm aluminium variant will cost Rs 41,900 while the 45mm will cost Rs 44,900. The cellular version of 41mm will cost Rs 50,900 and the 45mm will cost Rs 53,900. 

The stainless steel version of the Apple Watch Series 7 comes in GPS+Cellular options only and the 41mm variant costs Rs 69,900 while the cost of the 45mm is set at Rs 73,900. The Milanese loop variant will cost an additional Rs 4,000. It will be available in five colour options – Green, Blue, (Product) Red, Starlight, and Midnight. 

The pre-orders will go live at 5:30 pm today in India and the watches will be available for purchase from October 15. Alongside India, the wearable will also be up for pre-order in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, UAE, UK, US, and over 50 other countries.

Specifications and features

The Apple Watch Series 7 offers 20% more screen estate than the Series 6 and also reduces the bezels by 40%. It sports an Always-On retina display which is 70% brighter indoors as well. On the side, you get a digital crown and also a button. Apple says the button has been redesigned to take advantage of the larger display. There is also an option to enable the QWERTY keyboard which lets you tap or slide on the watch. 

Further, the company also says this is the most durable watch ever built as it comes with features like a crack-resistant screen, IP6X dust resistant rating, and WR50 water resistance rating. As for the health features, the watch comes with a blood oxygen monitor, heart rate monitor, and also ECG sensor. 

Other features include sleep monitoring, breathing exercise, multiple workout modes, notifications alerts, call alerts, Siri, Maps, Music, etc.
