Samsung has introduced its Samsung Finance+ program in India to offer quick and paperless financing options on its Bespoke AI home appliances. Customers can now walk into any Samsung showroom and opt for flexible EMI payment options, and get their loan approved in just 15 minutes. This offer is applicable across a wide variety of products that include refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, and others.
As for how it works, Samsung has partnered with DMI Finance, an RBI-approved lender that specializes in offering digital loans. Customers can opt for EMI payments by providing digital copies of their documents, which include PAN Card, Aadhaar Card/Driving License for eKYC. After successful verification, the loan will be approved in as quickly as 15 minutes. However, the approval depends on the credit history of the customer.
The company has not revealed the interest rates of the loan. The official website of DMI Finance mentions that they offer loans starting at 12.99% p.a. Hence, we can expect similar interest rates on Samsung Finance+.
This offer will be available across 85,000+ Samsung showrooms across India. Customers can also opt for Samsung Finance+ directly on Samsung.com.
The Bespoke AI range is the top-end lineup in Samsung’s home appliances portfolio. These come equipped with smart AI features, which include voice assistants, mobile app controls, scheduling, and more. These products are priced comparitively higher than the company’s mainstream and affordable appliances.
For example, Samsung’s Bespoke AI Series air conditioners can be controlled through the SmartThings app. You can adjust cooling, view metrics like power consumption, schedule the AC working hours, and control everything directly from your smartphone. Similarly, other appliances like refrigerators and washing machines also have related smart features.
The new Samsung Finance+ program will make it easier for customers to purchase the Bespoke AI appliances to elevate their lifestyle.
