Asus launched the 6Z smartphone in India on 19th June and announced that the device will go on sale in the country starting 26th June. As scheduled, the Asus 6Z has gone on sale in India today. The smartphone is available exclusively from Flipkart, and the e-commerce website has a few attractive offers on the device.
The Asus 6Z is an affordable premium smartphone, and it gives a tough competition to other handsets in the segment, such as OnePlus 7 Pro and the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom. In fact, it proves to be a much more sensible choice compared to its rivals. So, what does the Asus 6Z offer, and how much does it cost? Let us have a look.
Asus 6Z Price in India And Offers
The Asus 6Z is available in India in three memory configurations. The base variant of the smartphone has a 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, and it costs INR 31,999. The second variant has 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and it costs INR 34,999. The top of the line variant of the smartphone has 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and it costs INR 39,999.
Currently, the Asus Zenfone 6Z is being offered with a 5% instant discount on ICICI credit and debit card. The instant discount is capped at INR 1,250. So, after discount, the 6GB + 64GB variant will cost INR 30,749, the 6GB + 128GB variant will cost INR 33,749, and the 8GB + 256GB variant will cost INR 38,749. Not only that, the Complete Mobile Protection Plan from Flipkart, which costs INR 3,999, is being offered at just INR 99 with the 6Z. This protection plan covers the screen and liquid damage, among other things.
If you combine both offers, you are getting an effective discount of INR 5,150 on the Asus 6Z. And in my opinion, it is a great deal. The Asus 6Z already offers excellent value for money and combined with these offers, there is no other smartphone that can beat the 6Z at this price. It is worth noting that at the moment, the 6Z is available in only 6GB + 64GB variant. The other two variants might go on sale in a day or two.
Asus 6Z Specifications
The Asus 6Z has a 6.4-inch IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution. The display has 100% DCI-P3 coverage, HDR10, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Unlike many smartphones out there, the Asus 6Z’s display is free from any kind of notch. And to make this possible, Asus has opted for a flip camera mechanism. There is no front-facing camera; the rear camera module flips towards the front to act as a front-facing camera. And speaking of the camera, this flip module has a 48MP primary camera sensor and a 13MP ultrawide camera. The main camera can record 4K videos at 60 frames per second with EIS enabled.
Powering the Asus 6Z is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The smartphone, as I mentioned earlier comes in three configurations – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The Asus 6Z runs on Android 9 Pie OS, and it has ZenUI 6 customization. The standout feature of the smartphone is its massive, 5000mAh battery, which supports 18W Quick Charge 4+ fast charging. The Asus 6Z has dual-SIM, dual-4G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers. The smartphone also comes bundled with Hi-Res earphones tuned by 1More.
