Asus has expanded its Chromebook portfolio with the launch of its latest Chromebook Flip CM5. The newly launched laptop comes equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 3 processors and the company is claiming that the laptop is designed for cloud gaming. The Chromebook Flip CM5 comes with support for both Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now. The highlighted feature of the laptop is orange backlight around the WASD keys, Wi-Fi stabilizer, sleek design, 360-degrees hinge, touch and stylus support display and more. Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 Price
The newly launched Asus Chromebook Flip CM5 starts with a price point of USD 499.99 (approx Rs 36,600) for the base variant with an AMD Ryzen 3 processor, clubbed with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. According to the official announcement, the laptop will be available for sale in the US market in the Mineral Gray colour option. Asus is yet to reveal the pricing and availability of the newly launched Chromebook Flip CM5 for other markets.

The newly launched Chromebook Flip CM5 flaunts a 15.6-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels. It has an 81 percent screen-to-body ratio and offers a viewing angle of 178-degree with support for a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen also comes with Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) 1.0 standard support which will allow the user to use an array of the stylus on the laptop.
Under the hood, the cloud-gaming centric laptop is powered with AMD Ryzen 3 3250C and AMD Ryzen 5 3500C processors, clubbed with AMD Radeon graphics. The Chromebook Flip CM5 is backed by up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and 64GB eMMC storage or you can also choose from 128GB or 256GB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD.
On the connectivity part, the device comes with 2 USB 3.2 Gen-2 Type-C ports with support for display port and power delivery, a USB 3.2 Gen-2 Type-A, HDMI 1.4 port, Bluetooth v5.0 and Wi-Fi 6. The laptop comes with Harman/ Kardon audio with dual stereo speakers. The Asus Chromebook CM5 comes with support for Google Play which allows users to download games and applications.
