Asus Launches its Own Online Store to Sell its Laptops, Smartphones and Accessories

The Asus e-store will offer users warranty extension packs priced upward of Rs 99, and will serve about 30,000 PIN code areas.

Asus has announced the launch of its own online store, which will serve as its own e-commerce portal for its smartphones, laptops and accessories. The launch of the online store was announced with the company’s ‘Shop With Asus’ campaign, which the company aims to promote to give users a first point source for purchasing Asus products. To begin with, Asus will offer its range of utility laptops under its ZenBook lineup, as well as its gaming laptops under the Republic of Gamers (ROG) lineup. Asus will also sell the ROG Phone 3 and ROG Phone 5 from its online store.

The Asus exclusive e-store will be operated by AYR Technologies, while product exchange services will be offered and operated by Cashify. Asus’ launch report states that the store will give users offers such as warranty extension packs for its products starting at Rs 99, and will also allow users to avail product exchange discounts and deals via Cashify. Alongside the laptops and smartphones, the online store will also offer users branded accessories starting at Rs 499. The online store will serve close to 30,000 pincodes across India for deliveries, and will be accessible through a dedicated toll free line and email consumer helpline.

“An omni-channel presence is key to serve your consumers well and while our extensive offline network offers an innovative experience to users, our online expansion will aid their need for convenient shopping. The launch of the Asus e-store is yet another step in this direction,” said Leon Yu, regional director of the system business group at Asus India.

Asus has had a steady run of form in terms of its hardware of late. The company received considerable acclaim with its ROG Phone 5, with the ROG Phone portfolio gaining ubiquitous recognition among users looking to buy gaming phones at any price point. The company has also offered an impressive array of laptops of late, featuring 11th generation Intel and AMD 5000 series processors, as well as Nvidia RTX 30 series and AMD RX 6000 series GPUs. It has offered interesting, innovative form factors such as the ZenBook Duo series of laptops, which offer possibly the most practical implementation of a dual-display laptop design till date.
