
Taiwanese electronics maker, Asus, has launched two new gaming laptops in India. The new gaming laptops are part of the TUF series, which bring ultimate performance and style in a thin package. Asus unveiled the new TUF FX 505 and the TUF FX 705 gaming laptops, alongside a TUF Desktop FX10CP. If you were interested in purchasing a new gaming laptop, you should take a look at these. ASUS TUF FX 505 and FX 705 Price and Features
The latest TUF gaming laptops from Asus have been priced quite well. The Asus TUF FX 505, which has a 15.6-inch display, starts at INR 79,990. Meanwhile, the larger TUF FX 705 with a 17.3-inch display, is priced at INR 1,24,990 for the base variant. You will be able to purchase these laptops via online and offline channels very soon. Since these are gaming laptops, the FX505 and FX705 feature slim NanoEdge displays measuring 6.5mm and 7.8mm, respectively. The displays also come with up to 144Hz refresh rate for the ultimate visual experience when gaming.
The TUF FX505 is the smaller of the two, and comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD LED IPS display. It is powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core processors. The base variant comes with the Core i5-8300H processor coupled with a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM. The top-end model is equipped with the Core i7-8750H chipset and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5 VRAM. As for the RAM and storage configurations, the laptop supports up to 32GB DDR4 RAM via two RAM slots, 1TB of SATA HDD and 256GB of SATA 3.0 SSD.
On the other hand, the larger TUF FX705 comes standard with the Intel Core i7-8750H processor, which is paired with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. The Nvidia card has 6GB of GDDR5 VRAM and the system comes with 8GB DDR4 RAM, which can be expanded to 32GB via the two available slots. The only difference between the two, is the bigger 17.3-inch LED IPS FullHD display.
Both the laptops come with MIL-STD-810G military grade protection and run on the latest Windows 10 build. Asus has provided a well-built RGB backlit keyboard that provides WASD keycap design and is rated to last for over 20 million key presses. The company has also included its HyperCool Thermal technology on the laptops, which comes with features such as Fan OverBoost tech, dual-fan cooling for the CPU/GPU, and an Anti-Dust Cooling system. Rest assured, the gaming experience on these laptops should not be throttled by heat.
Apart from that, the laptops feature 2T2R MU-MIMO 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, a combo audio jack, USB Type-A 2.0 and 3.1, a RJ45 LAN port, and an HDMI port. They also feature 2W stereo speakers with support for 7.1 channel virtual surround sound.

Asus is well known for its ROG (Republic of Gamers) products and the company will soon be launching its very first gaming phone in India.
